What is the Paycheck Protection Program?

According to the U.S. Treasury, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) provides small businesses with funds to pay up to 8 weeks of payroll costs including benefits. What information is there about Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness?

The U.S. Small Business Administration has released an application for PPP loan forgiveness. We will be sending an email message to our PPP loan customers with guidance on next steps for PPP loan forgiveness, including an online portal to submit the PPP loan forgiveness applications. In the meantime, you may visit the SBA website for additional information.
